Tom is Chief Operations Officer of the Fair Tax Foundation. Tom co-founded GMPA in 2016, and worked for the organisation for five years up until February 2022. Whilst working for GMPA, he managed the GM Food Poverty Alliance, the Tameside Poverty Truth Commission, the Money Advice Referral Tools, the GM Living Wage Campaign, and oversaw many of the organisation’s day-to-day operations.
Before GMPA, he coordinated the GM Living Wage Campaign, and led many other charities and campaign groups, as well as serving for a year as General Secretary of the University of Manchester Students’ Union. He has lived in Greater Manchester for over 30 years.
