The Power of Place in Tackling Poverty

A conference on the role of local places in driving down poverty and boosting living standards

While many of the main drivers to tackle poverty lie with central government, we know that partners across sectors and local authorities can play a significant role in boosting local living standards. Join us at this day-long conference to explore the powerful role that places can play in poverty reduction. Together, we’ll take a look at the strategic and policy responses that can be implemented at a regional and local level to tackle poverty and make a difference to your communities.

There will also be the chance to continue conversations and network at our post-conference event in the city centre – further details to follow soon.
