Strategic Responses

One of GMPA’s strategic priorities is ensuring stakeholders in Greater Manchester embed a strong strategic approach to tackling poverty. Our work involves supporting local authorities and their partners to consider how they can best do that through the development and implementation of effective and impactful anti-poverty strategies. Our work on voluntary adoption of the socio-economic duty complements the anti-poverty strategies work, ensuring public service providers take socio-economic status into account across everything they do.
